Topcoat/ basecoat jigs where plastic components are secured and subsequently coated. These fixtures are typically placed in rotary tables within robotic cells. The tools are produced by means of standard engineering and metal fabrication.

This topcoat/ basecoat jig was manufactured by means of metal fabrication and standard tool making. Additional automation was also integrated by RS Composites enabling the tool to pneumatically open and close to load and un-load the components. This operation was then sequenced within the robot program to coat the parts.
