Prototype plastic mask for a Directional Indicator.

Originally coated in amber, a metallised pocket was later required. The illustrated prototype ABS mask was originally produced in 2 days for trial purposes. The success of this lead to the manufacture of production masks. These were moulded in PP.

Metal/plastic paint jig for automotive dashboard panel.

The component is to be decoratively coated. The cosmetic quality standards are obviously demanding. The tools are machined and mounted with high precision. Non-abrasive thermoplastic materials are used to avoid damaging the parts.
